Why did you choose to work at Raynor Electric?
I knew Kerri Raynor outside of work. I heard nothing but good things about the business and thought it would be a nice place to work. I am so grateful that they put their confidence in me, and that I was part of this ever-growing company.
How long have you been with the company?
In August it will be 8 years.
What’s your favorite part of the job?
Because I work in the accounting end of the business, I get fulfillment in seeing the numbers grow. It might sound strange, but I find satisfaction in completing a bank reconciliation and other monthly accounting tasks. Since I have been here the longest, I have taken on the position of “mom”; and I really do like helping out wherever I can.
What is it like working directly with the owners?
Tom and Kerri are very involved in all aspects of the business. I have been employed for them the longest, and I have gotten to see all sides of the business. They really care about each and every one of their employees and make decisions based on personal knowledge of each employee. They are real hands-on employers, and they will always take the time to talk to you anytime you need their help.
In your opinion, what makes Raynor a family?
One definition of a family is “a group of people who genuinely love, trust, care about and look out for each other. That’s what makes Raynor a family.
What do you enjoy doing on your off time?
I love being with my family and spending time with them, especially my little minions. I also love to cook, tackle a home project and work out in the yard.
What’s a fun fact about you?
I am pretty much an open book; however, I took ballet lessons for 9 years when I was young. I’m sure no one knows that about me.
